Swipe through to see the seven steps crucial for success with Greg's Handy Help. These steps are designed to ensure everything runs smoothly and maintain clear communication throughout the project. The first step in starting any project is an in-person walkthrough once a customer reaches out, allowing us to fully understand your needs before work begins.
The process packet will have the listed steps for moving forward in the home improvement project you are having complete. In this packet it list the whole process from you reaching out, all the way to walking through the last finishing touches.
Step 1: Contact
The Customer will reach out to me for the services they are looking for, as well as any information about their project. This means what is going on, and why the repair or the renovation, and any inspiration ideas that they may have to follow by.
Step 2: In person initial walkthrough
I schedule a date and time to meet in person for a free estimate, take photos, and notes what needs to be done. I during this time will hand over a process packet explaining what the next steps will be for the project
Step 3: Free Estimate
Within 4 business days, a detailed estimate is emailed with quantities, square footage, and labor pricing for each line item and will be created and emailed over. This estimate will include labor only. A separate link will be emailed over with materials list of quantity and pricing once the labor price is approved.
Step 4: Approval
Once the Customer approves the estimate by text or email. Then I will send a materials list with a link to purchase for the job.
Step 5: Scheduling
Once materials are purchased and ordered by the customer with a set delivery date, I will reach out to set a scheduled date and time to start the project with a estimated completion date.
Step 6: Work in Progress
Once work begins, I’ll communicate any changes, updates, or additional issues i come across as the project is in motion. If by any chance the total from the estimated price happens to change by more than $75, i will stop and be sure to bring it to your attention before moving forward in the project to have open and clear communication.
Step 7: Final Walkthrough
Once the project is completed, i will walk through everything and go over the quality of the work with the customer as well as customer satisfaction and communication throughout the entire project.
